Mastering The 1911

The 1911-type handgun is an iconic handgun which was designed over 100 years ago but remains a favorite amongst competitors, tactical units and handgun enthusiasts alike. Mastering the 1911 is a two-hour Intermediate level handgun course dedicated to the user of the 1911 or Browning Hi-Power type handgun. The course covers the history of the 1911 and also the covers the progression of training techniques and tactics through time to the present. The student will need to bring their favorite 1911 handgun (a limited number of rentals are available, must purchase ammo from the TTC is using our rentals) (3) magazines, 100 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection, please wear appropriate range clothing, a crew neck type t-shirt and a closed shoe (no open toed shoes, sandals).

Prerequisite: TTC Basic Handgun Course or the equivalent
